I am trying to remember what Pam and I got up to when we were young. We used to play at acrobats on the carpet, can you believe it ? Pam was very good at singing and even won a bendy bunny, which she gave to me. She was also quite a good chess player and she went somewhere to play, I think for her school.
I wanted to have ice skating lessons at Wembley but my Dad said no, so Pam, who was working by then, paid for them. I remember that it cost 4 shillings for 20 minutes. I have never forgotten that, your Mum was a very special person.
